Backups are the single most important thing you can do for your business to ensure you will have  a company tomorrow.  I find solutions to fit your business and make it cost effective to do your backups. This means tossing slow and expensive tape drives in favor of fast, affordable backups through external drives and encrypted online backups. Servers should always run RAID so if one drive dies, your server keeps working.

You probably know a business that's had a technology meltdown. 

The owner was frantically calling around, trying to find someone who could help them get their data back.  Feeling sick to their stomach for not backing up. Turning away customers because you can't get to your data can ruin a business. It's frustrating, stressful and intense.

Computers and data need the same maintenance.  I always have a story to tell about companies, large and small, who didn't take necessary business steps to backups and secure their data.   Privacy laws are changing in favor of the consumer who has been comprimised through a business that held their data and lost it.  Having to send out thousands of letters is sure way to lose market share and go under.
