A ComputerSupport Plan entitles you to preventative technology services and priority scheduling.  This is often referred to as Managed Services.  You are fully involved in planning process.  Your existing technology is worked into the solution.  No long term contract required.  You always own your data.  Get diagrams of your network and documentation.  This service is offered when there is a need for ongoing technology support.

Solo Support Plan - 1 Computer - $60/month - Ideal for Single Business Owners (SBO's) who work from home.  Get your computer essentials taken care of every month.  5GB of space for online backups.

Starter Support Plan - Up to 10 Computers - $350/month - Ideal for small businesses with a server.  This plan will ensure your computers are healthy and your server is backed up on a daily basis.  No frills.  20GB of space for online backups.

Standard Support Plan - Up to 20 computers - $700/month - Great for businesses that have more than one location or a sales force in the field with laptops.  Comes with 4 hours of direct support per month.  30GB of space for online backups.

Select Support Plan - Up to 30 computers - $1,500/month - Want an IT support person available for your staff without having to hire a full time person?  This plan fills your need.  Remote network monitoring.  8 hours of direct support per month in addition to back office hours to maintain your computers, network and servers.  40GB of space for online backups.

I offer a set of flat rate services for common requests including setup of a wireless network, data recovery and selecting the best new on a new computer.

Payment Method
Check, Credit Card and Paypal.  Payment is due upon completion of work for individual requests and emergency work.  Ongoing projects are billed monthly.  Discount is available for prepaid hours.  All invoices are sent by email and at that time you have the choice to pay by credit card or Paypal online.


Emergency and After Hours Support
I don't have emergency rates.  My goal is to focus on clients who want a stable network and positive experience using their computers.  This means I will respond to an urgent request after hours or on the weekend for a client but it won't become a habit.  

Screening New Clients
Due to the October 2007 murder of Katherine Ann Olson, a Twin Cities resident who responded to a Craigslist ad , I will require a 2 hour minimum and business references for new clients.

No Outsourced Work
All work is done by this consultant.  If this changes, you will be notified.  While I work to solve your technology problem, I may want to bring in someone who has specific skills like database conversion or graphic design.  If I am unavailable due to vacation, that would be another time I would use someone to cover my primary clients.  Otherwise, be assure that your work requests are not being shipped out of the country to be completed by people somewhere else.  I remain the primary contact and consultant who understands your technology needs.
