I teach people how to fish.  Sure they can hire me to bring them fish but I keep the focus on empowering them through technology.  Next time, they have an idea of how to solve the problem.  I live and work in Minneapolis. I create personalized technology solutions for small businesses.  Being a female computer consultant in a male dominated industry give me a unique perspective.  I'm able to make technology easy and understandable since I've spent time around "Techno Babble" geeks.

My technical background includes the standard fare of networking platforms including Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, routers, firewalls, Microsoft Exchange, Email services and permissions based security through Group Policy/NTFS.  I have experience in content mangement systems, ecommerce, Linux servers, website hosting, domain name management and website applications.  I'm able to communciate with other consultants and developers about database and security needs.  Moving your office is a breeze with Aden Networks.

I enjoy the challenge of figuring out problems with computer networks and hardware.  Being the one to troubleshoot and share the solution makes for a great workday.

I support the Mac OSX operation system (10.3 Panther, 10.4 Tiger, 10.5 Leopard).  I am active in the beta testing, open source and development community.

I decided in 2006 to step up and follow my passion by moving from a full-time position as an employee in the IT department to a full blown entrepreneur. I hit the ground running and have enjoyed every minute of it!

My Freetime
I enjoy volunteering and mentoring others.  "Getting my geek on" through user groups and beta testing ranks #1 because I never get tired of the new stuff.  I do yoga, listen to a variety of music, snowboard, own a guitar, upload photos to Flickr and listen to audiobooks.
